I Get a Startup Error When I Open ZiggyTV
ZiggyTV Startup Errors:
Startup errors are usually the result of a corrupted download. If you are receiving a startup error when trying to launch ZiggyTV, follow these steps:
1. Uninstall ZiggyTV
- Open your Start Menu and select Control Panel,
- In the Control Panel, select "Add/Remove Programs", or
in Vista/7 select "Programs and Features", - Once the list of programs populates, find and select ZiggyTV,
- With ZiggyTV selected, click the "Uninstall" button.
2. Temporarily Disable Security Software and Download the Program Installer
- Your security software may corrupt the program installer if it is
active while downloading the installer file, so you'll need to temporarily disable it. - After temporarily disabling your security software, download a new
copy of the ZiggyTV program installer: - PRO Members: Login To Download PRO version installer file
- Basic Users: Download Basic version installer file
- After downloading the installer file, locate the installer file
on your computer.
3. Install ZiggyTV With New Installer File
- When you have located the installer file, double-click on the file to
start the installation. - Proceed through all of the installation steps and the program will be installed on your computer.
- On the last window of the installation, leave the box next to
"Run ZiggyTV" checked and the program will launch after you
close the installation window. - After you have completed the installation of the program, enable your security software so your computer remains protected.
If, after completing the instructions above, the program still does not start properly it may indicate that your Java platform is corrupt as well. Installing (or reinstalling) the latest version of Java will resolve the problem. You can obtain the latest version of Java by visiting: http://www.java.com
